This month we feature new music from Big K.R.I.T., Jimmy Fallon, Tallest Man On Earth, and Walk The Moon.
June 5:
Big K.R.I.T. – Live From The Underground
After releasing critically acclaimed mixtape after another, Big K.R.I.T. finally releases his debut studio album Live From The Underground. The best way to discribe Big K.R.I.T.’s sound is a cross between southern hip-hop legends Outkast and UGK. The lead track “I Got This” flawlessly mixes the two sounds to show you who K.R.I.T. is as an artist. He also writes and produces the majority of his work, and doesn’t shy away from his country roots in Mississippi.
June 12:
Jimmy Fallon – Blow Your Pants Off
If you’re a fan of Late Night: with Jimmy Fallon, then you’ll love his new album. It’s a compilation of songs that he has performed on the show like Neil Young Sings “Whip My Hair” featuring Bruce Springsteen and “Balls In Your Mouth.” The songs are extremely funny and will probably get you singing along too. Jimmy’s new album just might blow your pants off after you listen to it. (Sorry, but we had to use that joke at least once.)
Tallest Man On Earth – There’s No Leaving Now
Sweedish born Kristian Matsson returns with his third studio album There’s No Leaving Now under the name Tallest Man On Earth. Matsson’s new work is a collection of sweet melodic folk songs that evoke memories of artist like Nick Drake and Bob Dylan. This album is a great folk album just like all of his previous Tallest Man On Earth albums.
June 19:
Walk The Moon – Walk The Moon
If there’s one album you need to get this summer it’s Walk The Moon’s self titled major label debut Walk The Moon. It’s a ruckus fun electro pop album that will fill in as the soundtrack to the summer. Walk The Moon features the hit “Anna Sun” and a gem from their first independent album “Lisa Baby.” Be sure to listen to and get this album, and it’ll help you through the summer months and then some.
