Get To Know Your New Best Friend…The Tailor

Being a well-dressed young professional is always tough on a budget. $2,000 Armani suits are out of the question, but you don’t want to look like you re wearing your dad’s suits. The best way to get around this dilemma is by finding a good tailor.

A good tailor can change everything. A good tailor can make anything look like a million bucks for only a fraction of the price. The key to looking great in a suit, blazer, or pants, etc. is the fit. The fit makes the outfit. The right fit could make a suit from Target look like it’s a $500+ suit.

Now finding the right tailor can be a bit tricky. It can all come down to trial and error. So start small. Get something tailored that is relatively inexpensive, so that if it’s not up to snuff it’s not too big of a deal. Be sure to know what you want and are looking for in your tailoring, and you’ll know what you’re working with.

The main idea here is to find a tailor that you will use on multiple occasions. He’ll make you look better for much less than you’d ever expect to spend. So here’s to all the tailors out there and find yourself one of them.
